Upon taking over the management of City Center Sofia in Bulgaria, a review of the online marketing identified a critical weakness in that there was no actively maintained social media component. The existing Facebook page had been created unofficially by an unknown owner, was poorly maintained, rarely updated, and had only 400 fans.
We drew upon our own experience with social media to identify the right agency to develop a new, detailed, and thorough marketing strategy that included not only a new Facebook page, but also online marketing campaigns, interactive games, and organized online events focused on the center.
After implementing the new marketing strategy, the number of City Center Sofia fans on Facebook increased to more than 27,000 in one year and the website has 50% more daily traffic, increasing from 300 to over 450 daily visits.
